In today's business enviroment, its more important to build relationships & trust. The "old" model doesn't work anymore. When attending a good Networking Group on a regular basis and building relationships & trust, people are more likely to refer you. The best attitude to have is, "How can I help someone in their business" because people will remember how you made them feel before anything else. I could write lot's more but do not want to go too long here. Thanks!
I'm still having trouble understanding the benefits of these networking things. I'm sorry if I seem rude or contrarian, but it's the truth. My need is to find companies that would use my service. Finding people looking for work is pretty easy. So for me to make it worthwhile to attend something like this, I need companies that use recruiters to do hiring. I'm unsure if this is something I'm going to find here. Plus I'm not much of a social butterfly. Can someone explain to me where I'm wrong?
