After a very successful kick-off event for 2010 we are bringing back the Bash, this time having different vendors, more people and more great activities! We really want to create the Best Networking Group CT has ever seen. I heard of so many great connections that were made at our last event that it would be wrong of us not to get everyone together again. Also, like ourselves I am sure you did not get to meet 100% of the people that attended.
Another way to grow our event and membership is by letting other businesses know about it. That's where YOU come in. For every person you bring to the event, you are entered into a drawing for an American Express Cash Card worth $100.
Also at this event, Harrison Tonne will be presenting a Social Media Marketing Seminar downstairs in a breakout room for all those who are still having some problems or are lost with their Facebook, Linkedin or Twitter accounts.
Why should YOU be there?
1.) It's FREE!!
2.) There will be between 100 to 200 business owners, entrepreneurs and business professionals attending to network with. Let us know who you want to connect with.
3.) FREE FOOD
4.) HALF Price Drinks!
5.) To Support our featured non-profit organization St. Luke's Lifeworks of Stamford, CT. St. Luke’s LifeWorks is a non-profit organization providing learning opportunities, housing and support services to people overcoming homelessness in lower Fairfield County. Please check out their WishList at St. Lukes Lifeworks and bring something to the Bash 2 that can make a difference in some one else's life.
Exhibition tables are available for this event. Cost $100, last event we sold out of tables so it is first come first serve. Please contact Harrison at [masked].

Feb 24,2010 will be my first contact with this really active group Networking CT.

I had a great time. Enjoyed learning tips from Latoya about how to get a 5 year old to bed early, meeting other CT taxpayors concerned about Hartford and networking with others. And great location.
If anyone is interested in networking between these meetups, check out www.meetingwave.com and click "how it works" on homepage. Mobile versions should be launched next month for iphone, BB and android. See you next month. Regards, John
I had a great time at this event and met more interesting people. However, I do have to agree with the comment about the food. I wouldn't necessarily say aweful, but I think that better selections could've been made. Every time I leave a Networking CT event, I'm excited for the next one. I'm sorry I couldn't chat with everyone.
Hi All,
I am very sorry I could not make the event as I was detained in NY at a client meet and conf with our California office. I am glad everyone had a terrific time and look forward to the next session!
all the best,
Sal Tofano
Bob and Harrison, great event. Too bad I had to leave quickly and didn't get an opportunity toi meet more of the great people that attended. Charles http://www.sigmanetworks.com![]()
Great Event guys! One addition you may want to consider moving forward with is something I recently saw at another networking event.....
In addition to the name tag, each person put a COLORED STICKER on their tag to represent their industry-
Red- Sales/Marketing
Green - IT
Yellow -Finance ETC
Just a thought. May help everyone manage their time better.
That's a really interesting idea... I want to be RED!
I love Tom Duffy's idea about the roll call. Might be hard to do with such a large group--but passing the mike to everyone might also inspire more meaningful connections.
I really like the idea of identifying your industry - which could simply be written on your name tag. Great event guys - thanks for organizing!
Tom, I think that's a great idea. I was hoping to do the same thing.
I definitely like the roll call idea, but perhaps it should be sometime after the first half hour, since some people arrive late...
The open space made it easier to get around to more people. I met Tara Alemany and found out that I've got lots to learn about social media marketing. She and Harrison are doing a seminar in early March! Be there!
Another great event. As always it's nice to quickly catch up with those I know, but ultimately talk to those I don't. Maybe I am old fashioned but I like put myself out there and enter a session of discovery with someone. For me it doesn't matter what industry you're in, but rather the potential to build a professional relationship. Looking for a one time slam dunk is not what I'm after. Long term professional relationships to enjoy mutual benefit forever is more my thing. See you all soon!
This video says it all...

We are going to double last month's event, which means we are on our way to having the biggest numbers CT Networking has ever seen. I can't wait to see everyone!
