Where did the food go? If there were four people...

Good space, nice food, I think the nasty weather kept people from attending which was too bad. I met some interesting members and reconnected with some people I knew. I was sorry to see so few donations for the Open Door Shelter.

The meeting was good and there appeared to be a lot of excellent networking. Facilities are immaculate and staff extremely helpful. Bob and Harrison did a fine job of coordination and the remarks were short and appropriate.

Very fine venue, good food, and quality people. I think the weather and the lack of lighting at the entrance and the roads inside the site were not helpful. The organizers as always did their part.

Great venue, very reasonable. Ran out of food and water WAY too early.

It was great to be in an outdoor environment. Although the weather was hot the cruise around the harbor created the perfect breeze. Caught up with an old friend I hadn't seen in a long time!

The most important aspect of any party is to be prepared to serve the needs of the guests. With a 6PM arrival, guests are ready to eat dinner. There should have been enough food for the 200-250 guests expected. If The Island Belle allows a host to bring their own food on the vessel, its mgt should reserve the right to approve the menu and require there be enough food available for guest consumption because if the menu is not planned properly it will be a reflection on The Island Belle as it was at last night's event. There are formulas caterers use to insure there is an adequate amount of food available for an event. Jeff's Cuisine provided the amount of food that was paid for. Had he known there were 200-250 people expected he should have refused to provide food for the event because his name was on the menu. If you have ever eaten at Jeff's Cuisine in SONO you know his food is excellent!

It could have been better with more organization. - Nametags should had made a difference (Name/Co. represented) This way was easier to spot your target audience and viceversa. - Create a microsite with information about exhibitors/table booths so pple know ahead of time who was gonna be there, also this will be useful after the event because if you missed talking/networking you can go back to this site and get companies information. I am graphic designer and work with the conference dept. to coordinate their online/print promotions. See you next time

Great people, great setting. Hot night with blowing wind and setting sun over calm waters. Seek and you shall find....

The event was nice and I got to meet some new people. The views from the water were nice. The one thing that may have worked better is if you had people volunteer to bring chips or small appetizers. That way cost is low and you can supplement what the caterer serves also. For those who came late there was not a lot of food available. But the price was reasonable and fair. On ticketing, there should have been better follow through for those who pay. No one checked my ticket. Just some thoughts.

The boat was great; I'm glad it finally left the dock. The networking was difficult for two reasons: 1. There was such a diverse crowd that, pooled together, I simply would never had enough time to sort through them for someone I could relate to in a business sense. 2. I noticed many clusters of people together who formed a ring; they obviously knew each other, but it was not open to outsiders.

It was stiflingly hot until the boat got moving. Thanks for hauling in the anchor and taking us for that cruise! There were a lot of great people onboard.

Ahh … the sea breeze, the salt spray, yachting is always a great venue! Lots of interesting people and good conversations and there’s nothing like hot buffalo wings on a night of 110° Fahrenheit. Thank you for setting it up.

I think if each of these events are more visible to the NCT membership the few weeks leading up to the event there would have been a much better turn out last night. On the other hand having a smaller turnout was just as powerful in terms of networking. I met a handful of great people I may never had met if there were the 75-150 that usually show up at the NCT events. The July 21st networking event on "On the Water" should be an easy sell out at just $10. However the inmates are asking - what other investment is there for this one - a cash bar? Is there a menu of food offering? I'm sure you know my "CHEERS" Butlers is happy to support this great event by providing some great food at the "CHEERS" "give-a-way" price!!
