The only bad thing about this venue is that there is no formal place where everyone could sit facing the speaker and be able to listen to what he has to say. The bar gets in the way of that issue. As for the next question below, it would depend on how many seats are available for the number of people that attend.

84 Park was certainly a different place to be. I've never been in an establishment like it before. While I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place, it lent itself more to dancing than networking. The music was too loud to be able to effectively communicate with new contacts, and the acoustics made it hard to find a place that was quieter without being out of eye-shot of the rest of the group. Personally, I would not recommend it as a Meetup venue.

Excellent space there is an upstairs and a downstairs that can be used for a "break out seminar." Excellent staff, centrally located, overall a great venue!
